Don enjoys keeping up to date with the advances in dental materials. Last night he was down in Melbourne attending the Dental Materials Group meeting. The lecture was on the “Modification of glass ionomer cements for oral homeostasis” presented by Laureate Professor Eric Reynolds AO. A glass ionomer cement is a dental restorative material used in dentistry as a filling material and luting cement. These lectures enhance Dons skills and help to provide the best care for the Ballarat Community. Don is a member of several of these specialised study clubs as continuing education has always been important to him, even before it was made compulsory. He looks forward to attending more lectures throughout the year.
